Sparkles! I got the A5 folio in crazy horse brown. It’s a tight fight in thickness but I did get my Stalogy 365 in there, which is a bit thicker than the Galen leather tomoe river notebooks. I LOVE it. I was completely blown away by the quality and just don’t ever want to put it down. I want to buy a new purse just so that I have one big enough to carry it around everywhere I go… but that’s why I bought the A6 size too 😉. Sometimes leather products are hit or miss depending on the company-sloppy seams or too bulky or stiff or poorly treated edging. Galen leather is a HIT. I know my folio is going to last a lifetime.

I agree with the positive comments of Galen Leather. Every product that I have purchase was high quality, fast shipping and always arrived in good condition.

So many sparkles! I just swatched my red inks and used a Sailor Hocoro fude nib for the writing samples! I think Diamine Oxblood or Blood Orange would coordinate amazingly with the carmine pen. They both have nice shading, but I like the blood orange best. Nice to see the Galen pen case in Carmine too. I have the 14 pen case in ocean blue, but would have ordered the red one if it had been available at the time!

I just bought a Writer's medic bag and 6 slot pen case from Galen leather. They are so precious, I cant believe the quality and finish of these products. The Forest Green is my favourite.

I bought the Custom 912 and installed the new ebonite feed about six months ago, and the pen hard started for me. Glad you made this video because it reminded me go look up instructions on how to properly install the new feed (Flexible Nib Factory has them posted)! I found that I'd made a mistake. There's a clear washer that's supposed to go around the end of the feed, and mine was still stuck in the pen. 10 minutes later and the pen writes like a dream. So thanks for the reminder to do a little research and get my pen writing! :) Also thanks for the original recommendation to buy this pen!

Sparkles My black Mag 600 came with an converter, so it is odd yours didn't, but I'm sure you have spare ones. I actually unscrewed my Mag 600 nib unit and put it in my Gravitas Ultem Vac pen. Now I have a huge ink capacity for the massive amounts of ink that nib goes through.

I have several bent nibs which I believe to be similar. Write your holliday cards with it. Shimmer lays down nice and visible. Congrats on so many amazing new pens and journals. Very tempting to get a hard back 1870 next year.

Sparkles. Hi. The Cappadocia ink is exclusive to Turkey, not just Galen Leather. And the logo on the pen is not an old man with a child. It's the silhouette of the late founder of Galen Leather (Zeynep) and her son. You might have read their story. Also Diamine sells only glass bottles in Turkey. I don't know why.

Sparkles...I had gotten the Galen leather red set (A5 tomoe river notebook, diamine carmine ink, 14 pen kaweco case, and Kaweco sport) when it first released. I love it! I always enjoy the products from Galen leather! I want to try the Mag 600...

Sparkle. "Fude" means "brush" and it's designed to imitate brush strokes. Ok, I don't get that; I don't write 'em, I just read 'em. The lower the angle to the paper, the broader the line, and the larger the angle the thinner the line. These are not flex nibs. No pressure, just curve. You'll see. They might take a bit of practice, but so do flexies, right? Now about that haul: will Galen let you keep these beauties, or do you have to send it all back? Just wondering.

The A5/10 pen case RULES… I have 2.. one green, one blue, both crazy horse… because I’m ‘extra’. Their company is so great. Every order I’ve gotten recently (2022-2023) has a single pen sleeve. Lovely. Omg, the hard back notebooks. Wow.

The "c" is pronounced as "k" so, literally, kapadokia. A region in Turkey famous for a large amount of aerostats to lift people up in the air, quite a renown turistic feature. This ink should be exclusive to Turkey, my friend brought it to me from there) So, my inner hamster is overwhelmed 😊!
